Your demo stays in your browser.

• There are no user accounts. The phone number and one-time code screens are a demo: nothing is sent or checked anywhere.
• What you do in the app (carts and bags, demo orders and wins, coins, followed listings and settings) is saved only in this browser’s local storage, under keys that start with zf-bidmart:v1:. Bids you place last only for the current visit.
• The preview uses no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies.
• Photos, videos and fonts are served from this site. Nothing is loaded from a third party while you browse.

The app saves the following entries in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device, and other people or devices cannot see them. The live market (auction prices, bids and stock levels) is simulated afresh in each visit and is not saved.

When you open the app, it registers a service worker for /app only. The service worker keeps copies of app files in your browser so the app starts quickly and still opens without a connection. Like local storage, these caches stay on your device.

Precache

The app pages under /app (including the offline page), scripts, styles and fonts, the app icons, the brand mark and the app manifest. Replaced with each new version of the preview.

zf-pages

Copies of other /app pages you opened, so they still open without a connection (up to 60).

zf-images

Resized copies of photos and video poster frames you viewed (up to 250, kept for 30 days).

zf-media

Original product photos, Pexels photos and video poster frames you viewed (up to 200, kept for 30 days). Videos are never cached.

• No payments: checkout is a demo, no payment gateway is connected and no money is charged.
• No real orders, bids or deliveries: sellers, bidders and order updates in the app are simulated.
• No messages: the preview sends no email, text messages or push notifications.
• No location, camera or microphone access.
• No analytics, advertising or cookies, and no data shared with or sold to anyone.

• In the app, open Account → Settings and choose Reset demo data. This removes every zf-bidmart:v1: entry and restores the starting demo.
• To remove everything, including the install flag and the offline copies, clear this site’s data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site settings).
• Uninstalling the app removes its home-screen icon. On some browsers the site data stays until you clear it as above.

Credits link to Pexels and to photographers’ Pexels profiles, and the credits page links to font and icon projects. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
